Una nueva edición del Campeonato ecuatoriano de fútbol está a punto de arrancar y los balances de la temporada que finalizo siguen levantándose. En notas anteriores de EL COMERCIO se ha mostrado a los jugadores con mejor ‘fair play’.
Daniel Samaniego, volante de El Nacional, fue el jugador de mayor juego limpio el año pasado. Pero, también se puede hablar de los jugadores que más faltas cometen y más amonestaciones reciben.
Para sorpresa de muchos, el ‘más hachero’ del 2013 no es un volante de contención o un defensor central. El jugador que se hace acreedor a este puesto es un delantero.
Se trata de Christian Márquez, atacante del Manta. El goleador también se caracteriza por su vehemencia al momento de buscar el esférico en jugadas divididas y por su gran fuerza para marcar.
Esos detalles y su falta de oficio para la labor lo llevaron a cometer varias infracciones y a pagar con varias sanciones y amonestaciones.
A lo largo del campeonato, Márquez acumulo cuatro expulsiones y ocho tarjetas amarillas.
